Peak of the Week

Things we’re loving this Wednesday, that help you slide towards the weekend

Peak of the Week

Happy Wednesday everyone! This week we take a look at a cool experiential stunt from Lipton Ice Tea, how Ben & Jerry’s shares the love amongst New Yorkers, and a simple but effective advert from Unicef that brings domestic abuse out of the shadows.

1)      Cool Down Stop

Lipton Ice Tea created this innovative activation to bring a sense of coolness to commuters in the blazing hot Athens city centre. We hope the ‘cool down stops’ arrive in the UK soon, as the stunning summer heatwave continues!

 2)      We all scream for ICE CREAM!

This is an amazing experiential activation from Ben & Jerry’s as the brand helps neighbourhoods across New York to share the love with its #LoveThyNeighbour campaign. Personalized tubs of ice cream can be sent between neighbours in the city, with the most delivered each month in an area winning an exclusive neighbourhood block party hosted by Ben and Jerry’s!

3)      Bringing abuse out of the shadows

UNICEF has created a striking advert to raise awareness of domestic abuse against children. During the day, this billboard shows a child crouched in a corner. As the day draws to a close, a small cutout projects the figure of an adult raising their hand as if to strike the child. This is a fantastic example of bringing a fairly simple advert to life with a strong concept and a creative idea.
