Experiential marketing hits the field


We’ve been back on the road again with one of our all time favourite brand experience campaigns; the PlayStation® Schools’ Cup. The tournament is organised by the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) and gives kids across the UK the chance to get active and hone their football skills.

Once again, we’ve been helping PlayStation® activate its sponsorship for the ‘Tie of the Round’ matches. In-between the on-pitch action, our Match Day Hub was packed with students showcasing their digital prowess and battling for a place in the final of the Virtual Gaming Championship, which runs alongside the football tournament.


We’ve even had football royalty Aaron Ramsey, Harry Kane, Wes Brown and Leighton Baines join us to try their hand at the latest PlayStation® titles and share their wisdom with the next generation of football stars.


Over 100,000 students got involved again this year in the tournament, which started in September and ended this month. We can’t quite believe how quickly the season went!

But have no fear…we’re back soon with the grand finale, where the best-of-the-best fight it out on the field to take home a coveted PlayStation®  Schools’ Cup trophy. We will be running another football festival extravaganza in May, so watch this space for more details on venue and dates.
